Default Few questions bout heads and cam that i have picked out

im looking at a set of heads Patriot stg 2.5 cnc ported 59cc 243 cylinder heads . Actual 243's. Fully assembled. Patriot gold dual valve springs Bench flowed 306 cfm @ .600.

so 1st off can i run just these heads on stock cam and rockers and what not without loosing power?

2nd i found a cam im interested

Thunder Racing Custom Camshaft
" RapTR" - 236/242 - .615/.615 - 111 lsa

not sure what pushrods but i knwo i need to upgrade those and rockers

my question is does anyone see any PROBLEMS with this set up or recommend a differnt cam to do with these heads?

iv done research and this is what iv come up with...iv used the search box alot so dont recommend that haha

TIA

I know that the lower the lsa the harder it is to tune, or so I've heard from others. And I don't think a stock cam can handle some ported 243's. Not 100% sure but someone correct me if Im wrong.

But that setup sound interesting. And that cam seems pretty big for stock cubes, I have a 237/242 603/609 112 lsa and I think it's pretty big haha.

Yes the engine will run with those heads,, It will not be optimum though. As far as the cam you have picked out, I am not sure about that much lift and duration with those heads being milled, the stock pistons in your block are flat tops, and you run the risk of putting a valve into the piston, I would call thunder racing to be sure,,
