Oil pump & timing chain question

Does anyone know if an ls2 oil pump & ls2 timing sprocket/chain set with work on an LQ4 block? Thanks.

Sure thing, many people upgrade to LS2 timing chains on Gen IIIs. But I would go with an LS6 oil pump.

Be sure to keep the same cam sprocket specific to your application as there's 3 different ones for different aps. standard ls1/ls6, the 1X for the 05 ls2 and the 4X for the ls2/ls3/ls7
