2000 ECU and '96 4L60E how do I wire in the TCC?
Ok so I did the 5.3 and 4L60E swap into my car but was just informed that I need to wire in the brake pedal and the TCC. Im using a 2000 A4 harness and ECU with a 96 trans. Everything seems to work good even at highway speeds. I looked for wiring diagrams and did not find one to compare the 96 to 00 A4 wiring. What do I need to do?

Sorry I'm more of a trans guy than a wiring guy. The TCC function is normally wired through a brake switch. However when you apply the brakes there should be a ground wire from the TCC wiring in your vehicle that will become an open circuit. Not sure if the two ecms are wired differently so this would be the first thing to figure out. If the TCC seems to be working properly and not stalling the engine when you come to a stop, then I think you might not have to do anything here. Sorry to not be of more help here. Vince

hey, at least your trying. everything seems to be working ok but it wants to shut off when I slow down too fast cause its still untuned. Ive been told I have to wire it in from the brake but nobody has responded ato this thread and the person who said it wasnt sure how to go about doing it.
