Hello to all ls1tech fam. FYI. Dont be fooled by the small displacement LM7(5.3). The LM7 is a BIG winner in my book. The 5.3 is great on gas (18 mpg), reliable(travelled 300 miles at 70 mph with more throttle to got faster), the traditional 350's couldnt keep up, and great with burn-outs in a '87 chevy c10 with a posi 3.73 gear. If have a chance, grab a 5.3,complete the lm7 swap and expect the best from the BOWTIE.

even the 4.8s are great if you put a hair dryer on them... and the l33 is even more desireable
