97 or 98 Fbody PCM into 97 Vette? My PCM in my 97 Vette took a crap on me. I have an F-body PCM from a 97-98 that will bolt right in, but the features to control the drive by wire and TAC module are obviously not there.
A friend (pretty smart) has told me that we can just reprogram the F-body unit and "unlock" those features as it is essentially the same PCM and all of those features are there, just not turned on because the Fbody had a throttle cable setup. So we just reprogram it, pretty much turning it into a Corvette PCM. Has anyone done this or know if it is true?
