Conversions & Hybrids - 1986 Caprice Coupe LS Swap

I have a 1986 Caprice and I'm interested in a 6.0+ Engine Swap but I have slightly heard about a Drive-By-Wire system that will make it a bit harder if I go with a Newer 6.0+ Motor.

So Where Should I look ? Should I just go with a 05 and Down Motor ?

or should I just take on the Drive by wire task ?

I Would like to keep the whole motor factory at the beginning, with EFI Truck intake and swap out to a LS6/LS3 intake later

I prefer the Cable Throttle Bodies..stock Gas Pedal works.

You will need to use the 06-up Truck Water Pump with a car Intake.

I havent seen any Headers for that style Caprice..I wonder if G-body LS Headers will work.
