I'm selling a set of head's for my buddy, they are a set of AFR 225 head's that are highly ported. These head are originally off of Steven Fereday's 7 second turbo car, they were then on the DRIVN Industries turbo car. When the heads were on the DRIVN car, the waste gate malfunctioned and pushed mid 30lb's of boost through the heads. It lifted the head's and put a crack in one of the water jackets, I have had the heads looked at by a few machine shops. I was told by all of them that the heads would be fine on a NA motor and possibly a car running a small amount of boost. This car makes a lot of power though, so he didn't want to take the risk and bought new heads. All the valves, springs and retainers will be included, just not assembled. I'm asking $1200 OBO plus shipping

Also, I'm into mustangs. Just listing this for my buddy, I've got plenty of feedback on SVTP, and corral if anyone would like my username.

I am a bit confused. So one of the water jackets is cracked, but it doesn't need repairing?

What I have been told by a few machine shops is that there is just a very small hairline crack in the water jacket. All the shops said that it would be fine as is with a NA setup no repairs needed, but a boosted setup it would need to be fixed. Also to be honest my buddy doesn't really know many of the specs, he bought the car from DRIVN already built.

I think these are AFR 205's…Based on the part number stamped on them, the
#15 0 would make them Part #1510,which are 205's.Afr 225's would have a #1610,1630,or 1660 part number depending on chamber size and bore size...
