Default DBW Pedal Bracket & Placement

Having trouble with DBW pedal placement in a third gen f-body (have a thread there, too). Does anyone have any pics?
Attached is a pic of the mounting studs for the OEM cable pedal - have a flat piece of metal over the studs making sure it will lay flat. Has anyone re-used the studs or just cut/grind off? I would prefer something I can un-bolt.
I tried to mock-up a tin piece, but I'm just not getting anywhere and have searched all over for info/pics.
Mounting angle and full pedal travel are frustrating ('06 GTO pedal).
Any help would be greatly appreciated - even a source to purchase from.

Brian

A guy from TGO gave me some ideas.
Cut a piece of metal to go over existing studs. Used a remnant piece of tube from the Trak Pak crossmember to weld in-between the stud holes, then a flat piece of metal to that tube where the pedal will attach.
Need to clean it up tomorrow and a little shimming for proper placement.
