Default Heads/Cam Build

sup guys, first off id like to say i did read threw the stickeys, and im lookin for a more accurate answer. lol

the time has come to redo my motor(shot valve seals) so i figured why not just do the whole thing while the cars down, right?

ive done heads and intakes on my other cars(5.0 fox/LT1) but ive never done them on a LS motor, and ive also never done a cam swap befor.

i recently picked up a set of cartek "Stage 2-X" heads locally for a good price. the heads are SPOTLESS.

what the stage 2X package consists of is

-2.02intake/1.57exhaust valves
-Hi Performance Dual Rate springs(up to .630 lift)
-Port & Polish
-milled .030

i know im going to have to spec out what pushrod lenght im going to need and what not, but what else is required for running milled heads? anything?

also i have NO CLUE as to what cam i should stick in there. I Daily the car from april till november. so nothing to crazy. Emissions, MPG and that stuff dont bother me. also not looking for any particular HP number, just want an improvement.

its a 01 Z28, A4, Full Exhaust, SLP lid, Performabuilt and suspention.

thanks !

Default

I would get the heads flow tested and talk to Goeff Skinner or Patrick-G about a EPS cam.
