Anyone ever dynoed a stroker with stock heads?
Curious, cause Im going to have a guy whos bringing his car in with a 427 with stock ls1 heads...he spent every dollar he's got just getting the stroker together in the car, so its still got stock ls1 heads for a couple more months till he puts some cash together for some good ones.
Anyone ever seen one dynoed? its got the best of everything except heads. (roller rockers, ls6 intake, 11.5:1 compression, big nasty cam etc)

I have a 408ci with pretty much everything except stock 6.0L heads and dynoed 420RWHP and 440RWTQ. These numbers were done with a small cam with 230/236 duration and 270ish lift(was considered a relatively large cam 2 yrs ago though). I got a good deal on a underdrive pulley and LS6 intake thinking I would pick up a tad bit more, but dynoed the same numbers. Guess it's time to invest in some better heads!

Launching!
I saw a 427ci stock headed car dyno, i can't remember the hp #'s off the top of my head (450ish is a guess) the torque was 456 though. The owner is waiting to get AFR heads.

420 untuned, maybe 440-450ish with a tune. It won't make **** for power....

I'm not too sure about the hp, but one of the mags had a 422 stroker with the big cam AND HEADS and dynoed 505 N/A. So I would expect the heads to give up say 25-35 hp all else being equal. Strokers add torque big time, so he will probably make good power if that holds to 5500 rpm. The big diff is that the CAM doesn't match the heads. That might cost him a lot! Maybe 30+ hp (I've seen that kind of difference). Put it all together, hope for about 470, but don't be disappointed if you only get 430-440. Just my guess.
Edit: Just realized "Only 430...". A lot of folks would LOVE that!
