The infamous trouble shifting thread:
After running a 12.4 at 108 with shifting problems from 2-3, I was told I needed to replace some parts in the stock tranny to keep it from slipping at that shift point. Now I get the car back tomorrow from the tranny shop and expect that to help me drop another .1 or .2 and add another 1 or 2 MPH. Now for the poll....
What can I expect to replace/upgrade next? (with mods that are in my sig)

two-four band
three-four clutch's
forward clutch's
input sprag
I tried everything with the tune before going taking it to my tranny guy. I am not even sure it fixed it, I will find out Monday. I was sorta suprised it needed the parts, I was expecting to replace the rear before the tranny. It wasn't to bad to replace these parts and I completely trust the guy so we will see. He said I would be good to go for a while, but it's still a stock tranny minus the converter. You can search my previous posts about the actual problems I was having.

This is true. A little harsh maybe but true. A fresh stock unit is just that. And they were not designed for the power nor type of driving you are doing... aka track time...
