Very impressed with the numbers, i'm sure it has high 8's in it when set on KILL.

I'm guessing 10.2's off the trailer for the 427.......? Mid 9's on KILL.

that 5.3 with a blower is an impressive engine. Hopefully a lot of blowers will start turning up when people upgrade the ZL1s.

I'm surprised they put a 9 inch in it and not a GM rear end.

They showed the SUPER Stock Eliminator 327 LSx with the 4.0L Whipple @ PRI last week. I'm guessing its the answer to the Super Cobra Jet. Sounds like the chassis has been certified to 8.50 on it as well.

If the little 2.9L 327 is pushing mid 9's during testing. Im sure the 4.0L 327 shouldnt have a problem! At least we won't have the lame reasons most of us have heard Chevy Fans have heard through the 90's to present day. Ford Driver-- "I lost but you didnt beat me by too much, considering I've got a smaller motor!"
5.3 S/C pushrod V8 vs 5.4 S/C DOHC V8 Sounds like a neat matchup to me!!

So how many cubes can you get out of a lsx block? Just think if you took that same motor and added say 100 more cubes f"ing crazy.

You can't just do whatever you want, there are rules in the class these are intended for.

I didnt think about that but i guess its ok for the guys who dont run in a class with displacement limits either way it think theres alot left in it.Do you happen to know what the CI limit is in the class they run?

Not sure I dont keep up on it. They run in both stock and super stock, I dont know the differences in the designations after that.

this was just posted in another thread, I don't follow it closely enough to know but I would think this is one of the quicker passes if not the quickest.

Heres the write up on it. Its a 2009 Model CJ fitted with the 4.0L whipple. It wouldnt meet class rules for AA Stock. Thats why GM has the 5.3L fitted with the same 4.0L whipple. Time will tell what it does
