Default Does anybody have carbon fiber exterior?

6le makes a carbon fiber hood, spoiler ect

was wonder if anybody here was rocking anything carbon fiber on the exterior

X2 on this. My bubbling hardtop and sail panel look like they have severe acne its so bad Those 6le CF roofskins and sail panels look badass, so I would also like to see one installed on someones' car.

How about those carbon fiber ground effects from a ZR1 will they fit a 02 WS6 it'll look sweet maybe?someone photoshop this ill paypal u 10 bucks hehe

considering, that hood is rather cheap for carbon fiber. I think a oem costs the same price basically..

I wonder what the weight difference is

I have a carbon hood. It weighed 21# and only cost $450 shipped brand new.

It's not 100% carbon, You would pay about $1800 for a REAL 100% carbon hood and it would weigh about 5lb. I've done alot of carbon work, even making M3 roofs, fender flares, air boxes all being 100% carbon race parts and most of this stuff you see is just for apperance.

Weight reduction and the grill/fog covers for aero. I will paint the hood when I get time.

Most of these carbon fiber hoods are just wrapped in CF. Not 100% CF.

Yea, they look ok. Those eBay hoods look pretty real. A local guy in my neighborhood has one on a mustang, looks decent for no paint or finish needed. He just bolted it on and go.
