Thinking about converting to a 4l80e setup but I would have to have someone committed to buying my AWD 4l70e first and if it doesn't happen reasonably quick I'm just gonna wait till it breaks then swap it out. I just had the trans and TC installed 40 miles ago so it's pretty much new. The 4l70e was built by a shop in chicago called ShiftRite Transmissions. Here's the build info:

7 Borg-Warner high energy commercial frictions used in 3/4 clutch pack
New Kevelar Band
Corvette Servo
Sonnax Boost valve
Trans 2 Go HD shift kit
5 Pinion front and rear planet
Delco hardened Sun shell
All new clutches
New bushings paper metal seals
New Oump vanes and accumulator pistons
