Default FelPro Stopper gaskets

Anyone know if these are available for the LS platform ?

Their website seems totally useless.

I know Cosworth have been selling "stopper" gaskets for a while for some imports, and they've been working very well on some big power cars. I assume they too must be Felpro if using this same "Stopper" feature.

Arnt they just your typical MLS gasket? Looks like they are trying to remarket it. ??

Rotunno reminded us that these head gaskets were good for stock applications for the same reasons that they work well in racing applications. Simply, better performance with a high level of dependability.

According to Rotunno, “the newer multi layered steel (MLS) head gaskets are better designed to handle the higher horsepower, higher RPM and higher engine temps created by today’s high performance engines.”
How does a head gasket help higher RPM's?

The stopper gaskets have a very small thicker section just at the fire ring, which means a higher clamp in that area. But only a very very small amount.
There are a few guys with 800+ Subarus using the Cosworth Stopper gaskets in the UK with great results, although with heavier head studs. They work far better than the normal MLS gaskets so far.

Higher rpm's and power will create higher thrust loadings on the bores and more risk of bore flex. It doesnt say it will help the higher rpm's. They basically say it is designed to withstand the harsher environment of modern day powerful engines before a failure may occur..
