Default Will I need to tune out VATS on a 98 pcm

The reason im asking is because im about to take my 98 trans am's ls1 and put it in a 90 5.0 fox shell i just picked up for dirt cheap, im just trying to get my ducks in a row before I drop the motor in. I plan on getting Hp tuners eventually but would like to know if i can swap the motor in and run the factory tune. all help is appreciated thanks

You will need to bypass the VATS for it to run

Yes vats and column lock if it is a vette. Vats only if it is an fbody tune.

Most sponsers will do that for you for dirt cheap. Some around 30 bucks and some shipping if you ask them nicely.

Probably so. Go to System, Theft, and then substitute NONE for PWM.
