Default A body p/s pump to gear clearance issue

I have been trying to resolve some driveline angle issues in my 70 el camino/ ls2 install. I have raised the tail of the transmission since i cant lower the front of the motor. now I have the return tube to the P/S pump sitting on the pressure inlet to the gear. Can I turn the p/s pump completely over and make it work?- or do I need a plan b? Thanks for any advice.

The P/S pump is the factory model from the 2006 GTO that the engine came from. The accessory drive is set-up is from Kwik Performance.
