4l80 harness with 4l60 Im getting a 6.0 donor truck to swap in my s10 but the truck has a 4l80 and i want to use a 4l60. Ive heard harnesses can be repinned to use an 80 on a 60 harness so im sure it can go the other way. I did a quick search and didnt find anything. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Its an 01 truck btw. Thanks

I just did this to my harness within the last week. I orderded a new 4l60e replacement pigtail from EFI Connection. Most of the 4l80e wires will match up to your existing harness. You will need to add I believe two wires for the tcc solenoid. I would also order some replacement pins from the same place. Compare the pinouts from a 2000-2002 1500 Silverado to a 2000-2002 Silverado 2500HD as both would have had these transmissions installled from the factory. Ok ill check it out. Im getting the truck tomorrow and will Have my buddy get me a diagram. Im guessing its gota be flashed to the 60 software for correct shifting?
