Default Discovered my 5.3 is a 4.8 and I need help

So here's the problem the 5.3 I got for free I just discovered its a 4.8 my question is I have a stock ls1 crank a set of 6.125 forged rods and a set of Weisco forged nitrous pistons that are for a 3.902 bore so my question is can I bore the iron block that far over ? And which crank should I use the ls1 crank or the 4.8 ? I have a set of patriot ls6 heads going on top as well as my nitrous cam that was in my ls1 pretty big with 114 lsa any opinions please help thank you

5.3, and 4.8 have the same bore if I recall, so you use your wiseco's, 6.125 rods and the LS1 crank in the 4.8 block to get 5.3L

The only problem is the Weisco pistons are for a 3.902 bore so I have to get the block bored

The max bore on the block is 3.905, so you should be ok with those pistons.

As far as what crank to use depends on what you want the displacement to be. Personally I would go with the 3.622 LS1 crank to go with those 6.125 rods.
