Not with my TA but I had to replace the headliner in my 93 Dakota. Bought a large chunk of fabric, 2 cans of 3M spray adhesive, and used a plastic smoothing tool (old credit card works just as good). You'd probably only need 1 can but take your time and make sure the adhesive is on thick enough.
Be careful on removal from the car and the old fabric. Cost me ~$200 to replace my 97 TA's headliner with an ABS-backed one after the previous owned butchered it with cigarettes.

Cant wait to see the results!
Let me know some tips when you are all finished up. I stripped my headliner down and got a few samples of materials, so I will be recovering sometime this month.
