Default Oil Pan Question For BMR Turbo K Member Users!

Do any of you guys know if there is enough room to just remove the pan with the added room from the Turbo K Member or do we still have to loosen the bolts and raise the motor?

I will be tackling this next week and would just like to know what i am in for!

Thanks Alot!

Off the top of my head, I don't think so - I wondered the same thing when I was under the car once. I think the pickup tube would be the problem.

Nope. With a Vic Jr intake I had to support the engine with a lift and unbolt/pull down the k-member to get the oil pan to clear the oil pickup. You might be able to just lift the engine and not drop the k-member with a stock intake.

You are definitely going to have to lower the BMR turbo k-member down some to be able to get oil pan around the pick-up tube. You may also be able to lift the motor a little too. It really sound like more of an ordeal than it really is.
