Pcm removal from engine
Hi- I need to remove PCM from my car and send it back to my engine builder/tuner for modifications due to poor idling and stalling when put in gear.
My question; How do I remove it correctly -PICS would help this mechanically challenged clueless writer.
Also anything I should be aware of when I re-Install?? HELP!!!
THANKS IN ADVANCE

1- Buy a six pack of beer
2- Unplug negative battery cable
3- Unscrew the PCM plastic bracket (two 10mm bolts)
3a- Take a break and drink a beer or two.
4- Pull the PCM including the bracket and harness. Be careful because it's easy to break the plastic bracket.
5- Unscrew the two 7mm bolts. They don't come out of the connector.
6- Unplug both red and blue connectors
7- Open the two latches holding the PCM to the bracket and slide the PCM out.
8- Drink another beer
Thats it.
You can do it with fewer steps, but the plastic bracket can be easily broken, so take your time.
