I switched short blocks before even building my motor to a 2005 block that needs a different stud kit. This will work with 1998-2003 LS motors 4.8, 5.3, 5.7, 6.0 if I am not mistaken. The part number is listed for ARP so check to make sure, but I do know it was for the 4.8, 5.3 and 5.7 ls motors from 1998-2003. The only trade I am interested in is for a 2004+ ARP head stud kit.
