Default Tul ammo (cheap rounds)

Anyone use it? My .40 XDM did not jam at all but I had to restack a mag 3 times, was sticking like the ammo was hung at the 6th round.

Curious if anyone with a .223 had run them through an AR or not, 5$ for 20 has me curious.

Are they steel casing? I wouldn't be Leary of shooting steel cased cheap ammo out of your AR they are known for tearing up the throut of your chamber.

Well, I am seeing mixed reviews, shoots a little dirty expected, but some other AR shooters have mixed results, some are fine while dpms had one feeding issue and the other had none. I have a M&P 15, so I am trying to find results for a fellow smith and wesson user.

I blew through about 1k rounds in a weekend of the cheap stuff, not sure if it was Tul brand but it was the cheapest I could order online and for sure steel case.

My AR is nothing fancy, just a Stag Arms, but it never jammed or had a dud.

I've used them quite a bit. No issues in either AR. I'll also use Monarch (found a Academy) when plinking with pistols. Sure its a little dirtier, but no sense in wasting the good stuff on paper.

Yea, the tul did not scar the loading area of the barrel in my .40, nor did it jam.

Just wondering how the AR will do, should be ok, just do not want the scarring issues that can happen with the wring type of ammo to the AR I have, where the round noses into the chamber. We will see, slhave not a single report of it in my searches.

while i havent shot that particular brand, its probably similar to wolf ammo... cheap and reliable, but dirty and not match or defense grade accuracy.

i woudlnt hesitate to shoot it through an AK... but knowing how finicky ARs can be, i only use XM193 (federal 55gr military spec) in mine

Well, 100 rounds yesterday, not jams, misfires and helped me zero the rifle in well. I like it, little dirty but not anything to be concerned with.

5$ for 20 rounds at wal mart, I get 10% off so it is a bit cheaper for me.

I picked up 100 rounds of .45 TulAmmo at a gun show recently and have since bought more online. I've never had any jams with it out of my factory Glock mags. The cheap aftermarket extended mags I use for target practice jam, but I don't think it's the ammo. It's cheap and dirty and I plan to buy more of it.

bought 500 rounds for my SKS. shot most of it already. still find boxes laying here or there. it is a little dirty, but still kills hogs. bought a few boxes to let the old lady get familiar with my .40.

Yea, sounds like a winner for most, about 10$ have bad experiences with a weapon, but it is a jam or two or out right have a weapon that ill not accept it.
