Default Might Be a Stupid Question: Can I Swap Cams W/O Uninstalling Springs?

I'm guessing the answer to this question is pretty obvious, but I just want to make sure: I'm going to swap to a dual spring, but won't be installing a bigger cam at the same time. I do, however, plan to upgrade to a bigger cam in the future. If I swap the springs out now, will I have to uninstall them to properly install the future cam? As long as the pushrods are out, the springs won't prevent the lifters from staying up, correct? And I'm just taking about the actual act of installing the cam, not questioning whether or not the springs will be strong enough for the bigger cam.

Sorry, I know that's confusing. I'm stupid.

Thanks,
Josh

you dont have to take out the springs to change the cam. just the rockers and pushrods.
