Default Help with rear main cover on 99 WS6

Long story short, but in the process of doing a heads/cam swap on my 99 WS6 I stripped out the threads where the two long oil pan bolts go into the rear main cover and got a nasty oil leak from the stripped bolt hole. My friend came through and hooked me up with a rear cover off of a 6.0 LQ4 and I had another friend put some drill the two easy to strip holes out and put in some steel inserts for strength. After getting the transmission out and getting my cover off I noticed the two covers are different on the inside. The part number on my original cover is 12556105 and the part number off the cover from the LQ4 is 12559287. Will the LQ4 cover work on my LS1 or am I just asking for trouble? Any help is greatly appreciated!!

im not sure if the lq4 cover will work or not i would try finding one with the same part number or find someone that has done this with out a problem. if anything you could just helicoil the holes that are stripped out. those bolts are low torque they only torque to 110 in lbs
