Ok do I really need a sensor. Now I am.running a maf but the car seed density tuned. Now I want to get rid of the maf sensor. I have been told I need one but was told today I do not.

The car is a 1999 firehawk with the stock pcm. I am running a f1a with a 402.

Also if I.do what is the best placement

The air inlet temp. My first tunner said I would have to get one if I went with no maf and my new tuner said he thought my car has one that will work. So I am lost.

he was probably thinking if the iat was incorporated into the maf... which it isnt on our cars.

just make sure your tuner knows what he is doing... a f1 on a 402 is gonna be no joke.

The car made 700 with the last tune on 10 lbs of boost. We are going to go to 15 lbs and see what hap.
