1999 Camaro trans help
So i pulled my trans to fix the 4th gear grind i had, most likely a bent shift fork. As long as the trans is out i want to buld it as well. I talked to a guy on craigslist that all he does is tremec transmissions, so he will be doing the work on it. I am going to go to the 30 spline dodge viper main shaft and do a few other things internally, but i had a few questions.
The car is basically stock as of right now:
What is the best clutch to use? I read the newbie tech but im just not sure what would be best for a mostly DD in the summer.
Will i end up breaking my driveshaft after i get a clutch that can handle the power?
How will the rear end hold up?
Do i have to change the main shaft coming out of the engine as the main shaft in the trans is now a 30 spline?
