rear drum to disc question

rear drum to disc question Okay,gotta 94 v6 bird that I put LS1 front brakes on with rear discs from a 96 on.The car seems to "push" under braking like the front are doing all the work and the rear want to just drive through the braking.If I get on the brakes hard like a panic stop,the fronts will skid.
Do I need to change the mc also?What has anyone else done when converting to rear disc?
