Default Honing with a deck plate?

If I hone my block with a deck plate can I RE-USE my stock replacement pistons r will this cause me to have leakdown porblems?I used GM rings (That were File fit) after honing the block if that matters?

as long as you file fit them AFTER the honing you will be ok. I would never use a block that wasn't honed with deck plates FYI.

FYI, if the shop doesn't have an LS1 torque plate, have them use a SB Ford. It will work.
