1972 Nova / truck manifolds?

I saw a thread in here somewhere, CTS-V manifolds are very tight. U can also cut the huge flange off the manifold and weld a V-Band flange to it. I did and it worked great. Maybe a V-Band will give you the clearance you need. They also weld VERY easy with a MIG and you don't have to heat the cast.

My truck manifolds did not clear the steering box, i used the standard mounts (no set back) but i also had to shim up the mounts for the oil pan to clear the subframe. I ended up gong with some F-body manifolds I picked up for like 20 dollars and they cleared just fine for me.

Thanks for the info guys. Reason I want to run the truck manifold on drivers side is Im running a truck turbo kit. I was thinking same thing on the v band. What's holding me up is I have to cut the mounts off for the rack to get a gearbox in there. To run the rack I have to buy a $1050 set of TRZ control arms.
