Default Private Party sale in NV with CA car. Any Tax?

So if figure i'd ask some of you local guys. I've got a condo in Las Vegas and will be buying a car here in a week or so. I found a private party 08 135i 6speed in north LA that would be willing to bring the car out to me.

According to the NV DMV
Private Party Sales, Family Sales and Gifts - Sales on or after January 1, 2006, are not subject to sales taxes.
However according to my financial lender(Chase) I would need to pay 8.10% sales tax to the state of Nevada. This is the case with dealer sales, but according to the dmv private party sales(which this is) are not taxed. I'm waiting to here back from the lender on this issue. I gave them a couple links to the NV DMV site that states this. It did sound like I can opt to pay the DMV directly for applicable taxes/plating instead of rolling it all together at Chase.

What are your guys thoughts? Has anyone bought a car privately in Las Vegas(Clark County) and not had to pay sales tax when going to the DMV to reg/plate the car?

Here are some links. I haven't seen anything that states that out of state private party sales require any tax.
