converter want stay locked... HELP!!!

Default converter want stay locked... HELP!!!

got a 4l60 with a circle D 4000 ... got it set to lock up at 40mph and unlock at 30 and it does.. problem is it want stay locked.. after about 5min of highway driving at 60 or so just cruising a long and it unlocks??? HELP

You need to have the misfire detection in the pcm changed. The smaller diameter converter throws off the calculations and it detects a false misfire and unlocks the converter.

It will have to be sent To a tuner. Frost did mine and it works perfect.

Why does it have to be sent off? Can you just change the settings with hpt or some other tuning device?

^^^yes. Just adjust with either efilive or Hptuners and you should be good.
