Bigger valves for my LQ9 build?
Thoughts on this?
I'm in the process of finishing up my LQ9 build.
Block has been cleaned/bored/honed
.02 Speed Pro hypereutectics
Stock crank, polished and cleaned up
Stock rods, cleaned up
New bearings, etc.
Billet double roller timing chain
LS6 oil pump
Futral F13 cam
LQ9 heads, ported, cleaned, 3-angled, etc.
Typhoon intake
SVO red top injectors
Ported and polished TB
Double valve springs
We were reusing my stock valves because I started with a budget build on it, but now that it has progressed a little beyond budget I'm thinking of buying new valves.
If I buy new valves, I'm thinking of buying some bigger ones. With a 4.02 bore some 2.08/1.60 valves will fit nicely and scavenge off the walls really well.
