Default timing chain ?/?/

I am gettin new heads with 978 double springs .... Do i need a double timing chain or is there a strong single one ... i perfer to stay with a single because i have a asp pulley and i think its the older one

the stock set is pretty strong,or comp makes one or slp has a single too,good wrenchin'

I just got done putting the hotcam in my car,and put in the gm performance parts chain, comparing it to stock, it is definitely thicker and one to consider

JWIS chain is a very good option too

These pics sold me on it.

JWIS is the top chain.

hard to say, but the katech resembles the gmpp chain in dimensions,noticably thicker

The JWIS/Katech uses the stock gears.
