I hope you guys find my swap interesting. I have to call on some LS experience to solve an issue. I am in the final stretch and working on gauges and obd2 feeds for on board diagnostics.
- Does the 2006 GTO come with an oil level / oil temperature sensor?
I have a big hex shaped block in my oil pan. I know it is oil level...but is it also oil temperature? If not where does the GTO ls2 get oil temp reading?
I need to feed the PCM with this info for my data logger.
I have CP wire harness that did not come with an oil pressure or oil temp plug. I understand not needed for operating the car...but I need for data off DLC.
APPRECIATE any help....part numbers- links for schematic etc.
Ps- I am running all separate electrical gauges and have those sendors already going to BCM.
