Default Considering moving to upstate NY... Where are the 1/4 tracks

So the wife and I are considering moving up to Salamanca ,ny. Why cause she has family up that way and I got a killer deal on some
Land and a house.

So anyways where are the 1/4 mile tracks at? I don't mind a little drive (no more then say 1 1/2 maybe 2 hrs away)if the track is worth it... A in having good prep and what not.

For those that don't know salamanca is about an hour away from buffalo

About a hour or little more away
http://www.nyirp.com/

Over 2 hours away

Then there are 2 1/8 mile tracks that are popular here also.

1 1/2 hours away or a little more

Just outside Buffalo

Salamaca is a nice little out of the way quiet town, but it gets some nice heavy snows of of Erie in the winter. Don't know what you may have seen or gone through before, but were talking localized FEET of snow in hours.
We are used to it up here, but a Texan might find this a bit too much so be prepared. 4 wheel drive in the winter is a nice touch and also fishing in this region is very good!

I'm not a Texas native. God no .... I hate Texas. Lol. I'm from san diego,ca .... But am prior service military and have lived in several places that snowed to include Colorado and Korea. So I'm no newb to snow or in climate weather. But I do appreciate the heads up about the weather. And I do plan on getting something 4wd when I move up here. Pending that I can find a job.
