Default MSD coil pack and 6 series ignition gains?

Hey everyone
What sort of gains does the MSD coil pack and 6 series ignition give to a bolt on LS1? Am I looking at efficiency, hp, both? Just curious if the $1k is justifiable for my car. Mods are in my sig

I would not expect any gains since the oem ignition already represents overkill.

Thanks man.

Yeah shortly after making this thread, I found the thread I was looking for coving the coils. Like you said, its not justifiable replacing the properly working LS1 coils for this
