95 Z28 vs 2012 R/T Charger
So last night I am driving about 60 mph and a new charger with dealer tags creeps up beside me. We make eye contact and its on. He punches it, I punch it, and we stay right beside each other until around 100 mph where I start to pull fast. Then we meet at a couple stop signs later. Nothing but open country road in front of us. We launch and, to my surprise, I jump a half a car on him. Then a full car. Then he quits.
Now I know I can beat the older chargers. I've done it many times. But I guess that I overrated these new chargers. I thought I was beat for sure. All I have done to the old LT1 is a CAI, exhaust, drag radials, and 3.73s behind the t56. And some weight reduction. But my baby always has been fast for no reason. Haha

Good kill. I guess I'm in the Dodge clan now that I have a Charger. Stock Charger RT vs. LT1 Camaro with mods and weight reduction. What's hard to believe? Let me start some **** up. I bet my 2012 Charger RT R/T with a 2.5 inch X-pipe, custom exhaust and K@N drop-in filter in sport mode will beat a stock LS1 Camaro/Firebird in a roll race. I've had 2 LS1 Camaros and 1 LT1 Camaro. So I know how they run with full exhaust and a tune. Remember, I said beat a stock LS1. Also, to clear things up, the so-called new hemi is a complete different animal than the 06'-08' hemi. Don't ask me why. To the OP, if that 12' Charger RT would have been broke-in, full exhaust, 3.06 gears in sport mode, he would have given you a good race from a dig. With those mods I mentioned, from a roll, he would win easily. Let the **** begin.

great kill MISSISSIPPI....i own a warmed over '95 lt1 camaro as well...some do run better then others...and IRONOUTLAW is correct, the new 392 is all together something else compared to the earlier years...the jump in performance between the two cars/ engines is like comparing a 2010 mustang gt to a 2011 5.0....big difference...i believe LT/LS GUY on here has a 392 hemi and he has gone 12.4 stock....imagine if dodge could drop a few hundred pounds on that car...hello 11's...next time get a video, again good kill op.
