Default help please - rough at low rpm - sweet at WOT?

ok I'm going to have to stop pretending I really know what I'm talking about and humbly pose a question: I've noticed lately my car sounds rough under 3000 rpms and sounds like it's laboring to get around. Noisy and sluggish. It does not feel "tight" even though I just put 3.73's on. Once I get to 3000, it's a totally different story - the car runs and sounds awesome and pulls hard. I'm not throwing any codes, and I'm just wondering if this sounds like something I can correct with my Predator (too rich, add timing, ets) or is it maybe something actually wrong???

well start with things that dont care about WOT...
one is idle air controler.. or IAC if it gets dirty then your idle will be choppy and fluctuate... also lower rmp half gas driving can surg or buck... or just feel like powers down...
i see your an a4... possable that the gear swap would like a stall verter?
also might wanna get a/f on wide band done...
you might be rich under the curve?...

just some things to look at ...

oh yeh... when was the last time ou swapped plugs?
