Default Switching cams- how much will it help?

I currently have a custom grind comp. It's 617/612, 248/254, 114+4.
I have good stage 3 Prc ls6 heads and fast 90/90
The cAm came out of a 408 w/ big shot of spray. (got it cheap from friend)

I'm looking to go to a 630/615. 236/240. 111 (street sweeper)

Just curious how much it might help.

My best time is 115@120. 123 is my best mph.

Fwiw I ran 11.8@118 making only one pass with my old mild 581/588 cam and stock ls6 heads. Soo I think I should've gained a lot more with bigger cam/heads.

Any input would be awesome and appreciated!

I think that cam was just flat out too big for your engine. What size gears does the rear-diff. have?

Yea thats a donkey dick cam for a 346, hell even the streetsweeper is pretty big for stock cubes. You will lose peak power by going to the smaller cam but the car will be much more fun around town. Driveability wise you will love the smaller cam.

I've read some really good things on the streetsweeper. My cam has good top end but is a dog down low
