LNC-003 on M6 turbo car

LNC-003 on M6 turbo car I just ordered the LPE LNC-003
Just curious how everyone has gone about hooking these up, I know that I can run one of the activation wires off clutch but how will that effect the car down the track when I shift? I probably wont have it set very high maybe 3K since I will be leaving on boost Ill adjust it up until I cant get traction then back it off. For now I am dumping it at 6K and even though the transmission is a built unit from W2W I fear it wont live a long life if I keep doing that to it.
Or would it be better to run it off a nitrous button or something?
