Default Electric water pumps?

Been thinking about getting a electric water pump to help cool my motor for the summer.

Anyone seen lowering in coolant temps when going with a electric water pump over a stock style one, during street driving? My car seems to want to get warm during stop and go traffic, 200-210. I'd like to get it to stay around 180-185 if possible.

thanks

If you want lower temps get a better radiator.
