Fueling & Injection - v6 vs v8 fuel pump

I have a 99 camaro v6 with the 5.3 swap...had a guy do it , i dont think he swapped the fuel pump, are the part#s the same . Car runs good , but wondering if it would be better to get the FP that came with the ls1 ...

not sure but do your research or just price check a pump for each and compare the PN's
