question on cam swap
what kind of single beehive valve springs and pushrods do i need to get for a 2000 ls1 z28 (has 853 heads)? i am wanting to get a TSP 224/228 .581 .588 112lsa cam and i know there are a few different choices for the springs and rods...i am looking on texas-speed.com

Comp 918s or PAC...either spring would work fine, and what ever brand hardened pushrod Texas speed carries as long as you measure and get the right length...
It takes a few extra days but put the cam it, then drop your stock pushrods in and see how many turns from 0 lash to torque it takes to tighten them down. Should be 3/4-1 1/4 turns to torque....if it takes more you need shorter pushrods, if it takes less you need longer ones. With that lift stock length should be just about right....drop them in, tighten them down and Liszt your results
