Default header question

Ok so I'm thinking of buying a pair of headers. Found the ebay stainless headers for 189 also found a site that has the pacesetter lts painted for 248 shipped.

I read good things about both.will stainless last longer than the painted headers with high temp paint on them? Just want one that is gonna last long. Thanks

Generally yes, stainless will last a lot longer than painted headers. Now if you garage your car and only drive it on clear sunny days, and are in a location where road salt and such isn't used, painted headers can last a while too.

Also, if you have the cash to spend, go for the texas speed stainless headers. $500 for 1 7/8" stainless longtubes.

I appreciate the advice. I live in Florida so road salt is not an issue here.

I noticed you have a pots Tb on the car how do you like it? I just ordered one.

I've been happy with it. It's a quality port job, especially for the price. I didn't notice a huge seat of the pants increase or anything, but the throttle response was a lot better. I installed the Potz TB and my lid at the same time.
