Default Cam Bearing clearance

Been searching on here and a few other places and just need some confirmation on cam bearing clearance, I had new cam bearing installed but the machine shop told me that the #3 bearing was extremely tight and I may have trouble with getting the cam in or clearance if the bearing collapsed. I brought home a bore guage from work and I am getting cam bearing ID of 2.1674" and from what I found the cam journal od is 2.166, unfortunately I dont have my cam yet to check the "actual" of of the cam but is 0.0014" enough clearance? I have found the main and rod clearances but not the cam, I need to know so I can get the lower end assembled and dont wanna have to pull it back out if I have to replace the bearing. Thanks

Personally, I dont feel like that is enough. I set my clearance to .003" by turning down the journals of the camshaft.
