Default About to order fans for procharger setup, got a question.

About to order the fans for my car. I am going to use the procharger shroud and ls1 radiator. I looked on here and I saw alot about the spal extreme 16" fan being used in place of the procharger fan. I don't like the fact that it has a short life span and saw fan 30102050 recommended instead. I plan on using the 30100452 9" fan that people have been using as well. I couldn't find any cfm rating for the procharger fan, here is the spal 30102050 info.

http://www.spalusa.com/pdf/30102050_SPEC.PDF#view=FitH

I am also going to use water wetter or something similiar. I am willing to use the brute speed fan instead of the spal if that is a better fan. I have removed the a/c and will be using a fmic. Car has the 6 speed radiator, don't know if that matters.

dont use the spal extreme fan it works really good but mine must have gotten wet or something because the motor seized after maybe 300 miles. Its not a sealed motor which is bad for a non track only car. I will look up what i ordered as a replacement and get back with you. It works really well! and I still have AC

The part I listed is the high performance fan. It is one step below the extreme and is sealed for long life.

Take a look at Spal 30102082. Bob

Spal 16 inch very high performance "PULL" Fan. If you're looking for a single 16 inch fan to run on your daily driver or heavy duty vehicle, this is the fan for you. This fan is not thin or compact, but it has been specially designed for maximum performance in a long life water resistant fan assembly. This fan has specially designed curved fan blades which increase airflow while reducing fan noise. Don't let the specs fool you, the specially designed blades on this fan allow it to pull a greater volume of air through a 3 row radiator than most other fans. Most fans are designed for optimum performance with single row radiators. This fan works when it counts!
