Default Had a Plasti-Dippin' kind of day!

So I heard of plasti-dip, seen it on a buddies car and figured hell why not?.. Well here's the results! I love the stuff, not really needing opinions but I don't think anything bad can be said.. I've seen some alot more worse things slapped on an fbody before.

Anyways figured I'd share my results for others to see!

Before:

After:

Sorry for the car being dirty, didn't really think about it when I took the pics earlier. I'm really amazed with it all, and as always I can peel it all off at anytime. But I like the way it is so it'll stay like this for some time.

Well thanks guys for looking!

Also something I wanted to add.

I believe you can see it in the pics. I did the front and back wheels different, and it actually turned out very nice.

Its hard to spot, but I sprayed more of the front wheel than the rear wheels.. What ended up happening is, the rear wheels look like they have more of a dish. I think that's the best part of it all. Because the front and back wheels have identical dish to them.. Just an optical illusion on the CHEAP!

Liked it better before, but I freakin love those wheels. The Summit Drag Thrust wheels right? I've been tempted to pick me up a set.

Looks Great! Did you mask off the Camaro letters or did you buy inserts?? I'm gonna pick me up a Can & do this to my real panel.

I'm assuming you taped off the lips to spray the centers? I want to try this with my CCW 505a's. You've inspired me.

Yes they're the Summit Drag-Thrust wheels.. The price is right let me tell you! Under $450 shipped straight to the door, and that's even with front spacers for good measure but haven't ran them in awhile.

Well to everyones curiousity about how I lined my wheels off.. What u need to do is once you've taped the wheels off give a real nice coat, but peel the tape and everything off when it's WET! If it's dry the excessive will dry along with what you've taped off and pull it off with it, I actually did that at first haha!

Here's what I honestly ended up doing. I literally "FREE HANDED" it and came right back over it with a rag and wiped the excess off with, a rag and my finger, and it worked perfectly! You could really take those fine edges off.. And if there's any specs you see wait for those to dry and they come right off by rubbing the wheel with your bare finger.

On the Berger panel-

U can use a toothpick to get inside the letters and be real careful when it's dry.. Also no I painted right over EVERYTHING eblems and all. Like I said with a toothpick or something be careful when its dry and it peels around the edges by ITSELF!!

You CANNOT hurt anything by using this product and it's heat resistant to an extent.. I'd say give it a try on whatever you like! They also have an array of colors to choose from, even a clear coat!

Also when you peel this stuff off something it's literally like a piece of a black Hefty trashbag LOL.. Also if say for some reason it gets chipped or is coming off, shake the can up and do a little touching up and your back to lookin good!

You can't put this on too thick, it does not run or fisheye. I "gooped" it on and it settled itself out smooth!

Yessir.. I picked up 4 of the AEROSOL cans at a local Menards. They about $6 a piece. Good thing is I only used less than 2 cans on everything. I got extra for touch ups, (which I haven't had to do yet) and incase I feel like doin it to something else.

Here's a closer up pic I have of the Berger panel if anyone wanted see.

Now I did pull the Berger off just to make sure it was going to work as planned, it was the first piece I tried so I was just getting a feeler.. And it worked out flawlessly.
