Tonight while getting on the highway I saw a cobra as i was getting on, I gave chase and we lined up he honked it off but we had to stop immediately due to the fact that there was grid lock thanks to a car fire that we couldnt see over the hill. We shut it down while sitting in the traffic jam we were talking he said he was just pullied. It was an 04 vert. My car is a 02 ws6 bolt ons mods in sig m6. After we got out of the traffic jam it opened up for a quick run. Roughtly 50ish. I dropped it into second he honked it off, held even through second and he pulled in third. My shift was real slow due to a bad trans so he got most of his lead in that shift. Video

takes a well built car to hang with a modded 03 cobra, and somekind of boost or spray to play with kb cobras, i agree slow shift or not he was pulling hard

He clearly won and would've pulled, I know cobras are mean and I know there will always be one faster so ohio shouldnt get his panties in a bunch.
Modded cobras are monsters I know, Im only looking to but down 480 to the wheels when Im done. i daily drive my car so im not out to make it the fastest street car on earth. Like I said no shame that I lost he was a cool guy and it was a good run

Nice car op and you did good, but he was def going to leave in third gear. My 02z ran the same times as your car or close... high 12's at 109 ish and my dads pullied cobra would tear it up. He was def going to put bussed on in third. Like I said, good video and nice car. A good cam would make it an even run.

Those cobras are no joke. A buddy of mine had an 04 with a bassani cat back, cai, and a pulley and it was an absolute terror. Made something north of 450 I think? I drove it a couple times, and when you mash the throttle all you here is the supercharger and then bam! Youre over 100mph.

Seems like some guys don't know what a pulled out 'bra will do. That car was just about to stomp your *** by the looks of things...foreshadowing anyone? Nice run but you aint got the nuts ...yet . Not being a dick btw, but you gotta know when to know . Typically, bolt on ls1 cars just can't go and push around those cars when they're pullied. Thanks for posting though man, good vid.

Nice run - those cars are fun to race anyways IMO - Ran one myself last year at the track - he was 12.1 (not sure his mods) I was just bolt ons at 12.9.

Again like I said I had no doubt he was going to pull on me. I dont have a problem running anything for fun. He was a cool guy, I pretty sure he probably had somesort of exhaust too because it didnt sound very stock. And i know he was going to pull on me but he pulled a lot harder due to the fact that i had to fight it into gear then we let off. It was a fun run nothing more nothing less I have no doubt that a stock cobra wouldve pulled on me too but hey who cares right

I agree to some extent with this but it takes a well built cobra to hang with me. And I have no boost or spray on my car.. All motor LS2..
